  We were referred to Alpenglow after our poor sweet Shepherd/Bernese was hit by a car. She had a broken leg and needed extensive surgery. I don't even know how to begin to express my gratitude for the staff at this specialty emergency vet center! They met us at the car upon arrival and assisted us in getting her inside. She was examined thoroughly and expediently. The doctor came into the room and spoke with us giving us the entire rundown of the extent of her injuries and what we could expect in treatment and cost. The orthopedic surgeon is top notch and has kept us completely in the loop on our options, his recommendations, and all of her post care. He is the one that sees her to adjust her pins/screws and bandage changes. We always felt very comfortable walking away when we visited her as an 'inpatient' as we knew she could not be in better hands! The ENTIRE staff is so incredibly caring and highly competent! We are so glad that Alpenglow was there for us, and they continue to be as we journey through the healing process. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!

  Awful service. Don't bother bringing your pets here. Candy at the front desk is rude and unhelpful. I called before coming in and Candy told me I would be see a nurse as soon as I could bring my cat in ( about 30 minutes) . When I arrived I was left waiting on the lobby for more then 45 minutes with a very sick cat. I asked Candy at the front desk if a nurse was going to see my cat she told me I had to wait another 30 to 45 minutes in the lobby. And she had helped 2 other people before me and sent them to an exam room while I was told on the phone before coming in that I would be seen and just left in the lobby. I do not recommend bringing any of your pets here. They do not care. I took my cat to VCA all pets animal hospital. They were able to see my cat with in 15 minutes and took my cat in for the day because of severe dehydration and vomiting.

  fantastic staff and doctors. they’re not cheap but reasonable for emergency room visit and no surprises on the bill. i wouldnt hesitate to go there again for trauma

  My cat was diagnosed several months ago with anemia on top of his FELV he has had for several years. At first Dr. Monaghan was upfront about his treatment plan. However, after the initial consultation, it was like pulling teeth to get updates on many ordered blood tests. I was given many excuses, including the blood work results weren't sent over (even though I was sent a CC'd email copy knowing full well they had received it a week prior). My last straw was sending a pleading email to Dr. Monaghan to tell me what the next steps were. 10 days later she responded emailing me she doesn't always know who is suppose to contact the client with treatment plan changes. I don't care if they were swamped or clueless or heck wanted more money. A phone call when blood results came in would have been nice. I spent almost $2000 on what felt like corporate greed rather than a vet specialist consultation and treatment plan for my cat. Go somewhere else if you expect to get what you paid for.
